Google Play enforces strict content guidelines for all store metadata graphics according to Google Play Developer Policies:
- Do NOT include store ranking claims (e.g. "#1 App in Finance").
- Do NOT include pricing or promotion text (e.g. "Free", "50% Off", "Sale").
- Do NOT show Google Play badges or star rating graphics.
- Dimensions must be exactly 1024 × 500 px.
- Format must be JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no alpha channel.
- Max file size: 15 MB.
Pre-Submission Checklist
- Exact 1024 × 500 resolution verified with the validator above.
- Main app icon and headline positioned within the central 70% safe zone.
- High-contrast background that remains readable in light and dark mode.
- Paired with at least 4 phone screenshots in your store listing.
